Notice: Stair cleaning on Wednesday

The cleaners will wash the stairs on Wednesday morning, from 8 AM to 12 PM.

The stairs will be wet. Please use the lift during these hours if you can.

If you must use the stairs, walk slowly and hold the rail. The cleaners will put yellow signs on each floor.

Please do not leave shoes, bikes, or boxes outside your door on Tuesday night. The cleaners cannot move them and will clean around them.

The cleaners come every three months. The next date will be on the board in the entrance.

After 30 April the card stops working. Books you already have are not affected, but you cannot borrow more.

We also have free ebooks with the same card. Ask at the desk if you would like to try this.

I moved into my first flat two weeks ago. Some small things nobody told me.

Take photos of every room on day one. My wall already had a mark on it and now I can prove it was there before me.

Find the water stop tap before you need it. Mine is under the kitchen sink, behind a box I had to empty at 11 PM.

Buy one good pan, not four cheap ones. I use the same pan for everything.

Meet the neighbour below you early. Mine told me the bin day, which is Tuesday and not Monday like the website says.

The best thing so far: the flat is small and I can clean it in twenty minutes.
