Terms of Sale and Refund Policy
1. What you are buying
A one-time payment of $19.00 gives the account you are signed in with access to the Duolingo English Test practice sets on testpracticelab.com, as listed on the product page when you buy. It is a digital product. It is not a subscription and it does not renew.
2. Immediate access
Access starts as soon as your payment is confirmed. By completing the purchase you ask us to start providing the digital content immediately.
3. Refunds
You can request a refund yourself within 14 days of purchase, once per account, from My page. No email or support request is needed.
4. How the refund amount is calculated
- A fixed processing fee of $2.00 is deducted first. It covers payment processing costs that we cannot recover when an order is refunded.
- The remainder is then reduced in proportion to the number of different paid practice sets you completed after purchase. Each completed set uses up one sixth of the remainder.
Refund = ($19.00 - $2.00) x (1 - sets completed / 6), rounded down to the cent. At 6 or more completed sets there is no refund.
| Paid sets completed | Refund on a $19.00 purchase |
|---|---|
| 0 | $17.00 |
| 1 | $14.16 |
| 2 | $11.33 |
| 3 | $8.50 |
| 4 | $5.66 |
| 5 | $2.83 |
| 6 or more | No refund |
The free diagnostic set, sets you started but did not finish, sets that failed to be scored, and repeat attempts of a set you already completed do not add to the count.
5. After a refund
Access to the paid practice sets ends. Score reports you already received stay viewable. You may buy again later, but a second purchase is not eligible for another refund.
6. When the money arrives
Refunds go to your original payment method through our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, and usually appear within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank.
7. Payment provider
Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record for our sales. Where required, taxes are calculated and collected at checkout by Lemon Squeezy.
8. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits rights you may have under the consumer protection laws where you live.
9. No score guarantee
Practice sets and AI-generated scores are estimates for study purposes. We do not guarantee any result on the official Duolingo English Test or any other exam. Test Practice Lab is not affiliated with Duolingo.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The version shown when you bought applies to that purchase. Questions about your data are covered in the Privacy Policy.
