Take an Interview
Listen to each question and answer out loud. You have 45 seconds for each answer, and there is no preparation time. Try it first, then open the sample answer.
An interviewer asks you four questions about travel. They start with you and get a little wider each time. Use the beginner formula for every answer: Answer, Reason, Example, Wrap-up.
Do you like to travel? Where do you usually go?
Start withYes, I love to…
Show Answer
Yes, I love to travel. I usually go on a short trip two or three times a year. Most of the time, I travel inside Korea, like Jeju Island or Gangneung, because it is cheap and easy. I like to go with my family or close friends. We eat local food and walk around the city. Traveling helps me forget about work and feel fresh again.
Why it works: Say yes, then how often and where. "Because it is cheap and easy" explains the choice of places. What you do on a trip (local food, walking) is the example, and the last sentence says why travel matters to you.
Tell me about a trip you remember. Where did you go?
Start withI remember my trip to…
Show Answer
I remember my trip to Jeju Island two years ago. I went there with my best friend for three days. On the first day, we rented a car and drove along the sea. On the second day, we climbed Hallasan Mountain. It was hard, but the view from the top was amazing. On the last day, we ate black pork and bought tangerines for our families. It was the best trip of my life.
Why it works: Name the place, when, and who in the first two sentences. Then tell it day by day: On the first day, On the second day, On the last day. One feeling at the end makes it a memory, not a schedule.
When you travel, do you like to make a plan, or do you like to decide day by day? Why?
Start withI like to make a plan…
Show Answer
I like to make a plan before I travel. First, it saves time. I don't want to stand on the street and look for a place to eat. Second, I can save money, because hotels and train tickets are cheaper when you book early. For example, before my Jeju trip, I made a simple list of places for each day. Of course, I change the plan sometimes. But a plan makes me feel relaxed.
Why it works: Choose one side, then two reasons with First and Second. The Jeju list is a small, real example that connects to your last answer. Saying you sometimes change the plan sounds natural before the wrap-up.
Do you think traveling is a good way to learn? Why or why not?
Start withYes, I think…
Show Answer
Yes, I think traveling is a great way to learn. When you travel, you see new places and meet different people. You also learn about other cultures and food. For example, when I visited Japan, I learned how people line up quietly and keep the streets clean. I could not learn that from a book. Traveling also teaches you to solve problems by yourself. So I think everyone should travel when they can.
Why it works: A clear yes first. Two things you learn (other cultures, solving problems) and one example from a real trip. "I could not learn that from a book" shows why travel is different, and the last line repeats the opinion.

I think it is important because hobbies makesmake people more creative inat work, and they come back more freshfresher.
That was one answer. Your full test has 11. Every one gets this.
