FAQ
Common questions
What does "for life" mean?
No renewal and no expiry. Every TOEFL set on the site, including ones we add later, stays graded for your account.
Is this my official TOEFL score?
No. It is our estimate on the same 1 to 6 band scale. Only the real test gives an official score.
Does TOEFL Lifetime include DET?
No. DET and TOEFL are separate. Each has its own Lifetime.
How does the refund work?
Within 14 days of paying, from My page. If you haven't completed a set yet, you get it all back. Otherwise a $2.00 processing fee comes off first, and the rest is prorated by the sets you have completed. After 6 completed sets the refund is used up.
Why is it $19 for me and $39 for others?
Every account gets $19 for its first 48 hours after sign-up. After that the price is $39. The rule is the same for everyone, and the clock is your own: it starts when you sign up, not on a date we pick.
