I prefer living in a big city because it provides more opportunities for education, employment, and social interaction. Additionally, public transportation and amenities like hospitals and shopping centers make life convenient. On the other hand, small towns are quieter and less crowded, but they may lack services and entertainment. While cities can be noisy and stressful, the advantages of learning, working, and socializing outweigh the disadvantages. Therefore, for personal growth and career development, I prefer living in a big city.

Do you think students should take a gap year before starting university? Why or why not?

I do not think students should be required to take a gap year. While some may benefit from travel or work experience, not all students have the financial resources or plans for a productive gap year. Taking a forced break may also cause students to lose focus or momentum in their studies. However, if a student chooses voluntarily to take a gap year, it can provide valuable life experience and clarity about career goals. Therefore, a gap year should be optional, not mandatory, allowing students to decide based on their circumstances.
